ARK Peace Charter
We, the participants of ARK, people from San Lucas Toliman, Guatemala, Minneasota, U.S.A., and Bethlehem, Palestine, Jordan, Lithuania, Malawi and Lebanon unite to build a better world. This is a world of hope, tolerance, solidarity, and understanding, equality, and love for all. We believe in respecting each person’s culture, languages, traditions, religions, feelings, and thoughts. In order to create peace, we need to listen, share, and help each other. Living in peace, we will have a different world filled with love and joy.
The Peace Charter is a work in progress.
Judy Maghakian is the Director of ARK. We are associated withAndrew Riverside Presbyterian Church in Minneapolis, the San Lucas Mission in San Lucas Toliman on the shores of Lake Atitlan in Guatemala, and the International Center of Bethlehem in Palestine.
